Layline Design Co. is a small product design studio. We collect as little information as possible — essentially just what you send us when you get in touch or work with us — and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you book a call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share: your name, email address, company, and anything you write about your project.
When you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. We use this only to keep the site running and to understand roughly how it is used.
During a project, we receive whatever materials you send us — files, product access, brand assets, feedback, and similar working documents.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare proposals, deliver design work, send invoices, and keep records of the projects we have run.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
We rely on a handful of everyday tools to run the studio — email, scheduling, file storage, design software, and payment processing. Your information may be stored in those services solely so we can do the work.
Occasionally we collaborate with trusted contractors on a project. When we do, they only see what is necessary and are expected to keep it confidential.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add basic analytics, it will be limited to aggregate traffic measurement, not the profiling of individual visitors.
How long we keep it
We keep project files and correspondence for as long as we have an active relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email daniel@laylinedesign.co and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Security
We use reputable services and sensible practices to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated version.
